Loosely translated from its Spanish origin, “Al Momento” means “of the moment” or “at the moment”.  This is the inspiration behind the company and the imagery, as this is really what it’s all about - embracing life, living fully in the moment, and cherishing all of these beautiful pieces of time that make up this journey known as life.

Al Momento Photography blends the eye of an artist with the curiosity and patience of a photojournalist to produce beautiful images that allow our clients to forever cherish the art of the moment. Ultimately the intimate, organic style of our images is a collaborative result between our clients’ emotions and our unobtrusive, free approach.  We strive to let our clients be themselves and experience the essence of the moment while we discretely document the occasion; whether it be an everyday walk in the park with your child, or the monumental occasion of joining two lives together for eternity…we would love to be there to help you remember the moment.

Tai Kerbs is the eye behind the camera, as well as the heart and soul behind Al Momento Photography.  Tai is a Midwest girl that trekked around the globe for a while before eventually landing in Santa Barbara, California to establish the foundation of her photographic roots at the Brooks Institute of Photography.  Since childhood, Tai has had a camera in her hand and a fascination for life in her heart.  During her early years, Tai was documenting the important things in life such as her favorite pets and best friends:  Nowadays, Tai is still drawn towards people and other living beings as the intimate subjects of her timeless photographs.  Besides capturing beautiful images of life, Tai loves traveling, exploring the natural world, music, meeting new people, learning new things, practicing yoga, appreciating art, volunteering, dancing, & laughing.  Tai continues along her path with the goal of using her gift to help others remember the beautiful moments of their lives as she remembers hers – with gorgeous photographs that connect with her heart and whisper to her soul, forever allowing her to remember always, the moment.
